Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) Assessment

Specific Learning Disorder Assessment

This is a diagnostic assessment for Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) in reading and writing. This currently does not cover weaknesses in maths. It is recommended if you or your child have weaknesses in reading and/or writing, below the average grade level and general intellectual ability.

Note that 6 months of targeted literacy intervention must have been done before a school-aged child is considered eligible for assessment. Feel free to book a consult for more details and recommendations. Some information can be found on AUSPELD’s guide to selecting a successful intervention program.
